MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547094518 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Oct. 1, for 'power efficient display color processing for static regions on screen.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for power efficient display color processing for static regions on a screen. A processor may obtain a first indication that a first region of a first frame will remain static. The processor may aggregate, based on the first indication, a second region for each frame in a set of frames that is subsequent to the first frame, where each frame in the set of frames includes the first region that will remain static, and where the second region for each frame in the set of frames differs for each frame in the set of frames. The processor may output a second indication of the aggregated second region for each frame in the set of frames."
