MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097086 A) filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Oct. 8, for 'power storage device and method for manufacturing same.'
Inventor(s) include Miyashiro, Kae; Uriu, Toshibumi; Kanazawa, Sayako; and Sasaki, Miho.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This power storage device is provided with an electrode body, an exterior film, a seal part, and a seal reinforcement part. The exterior film wraps the electrode body so as to form an opening and has a first seal region. A lid body is disposed in the opening and has a second seal region facing the first seal region. The seal part is formed between the first seal region and the second seal region, and at least partially seals a portion between the first seal region and the second seal region. The seal reinforcement part reinforces sealing by the seal part."
