Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Power Storage Device And Protective Member For Power Storage Device' Filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097001 A) filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Oct. 8, for 'power storage device and protective member for power storage device.'

Inventor(s) include Miyashiro, Kae; Uriu, Toshibumi; Kanazawa, Sayako; and Sasaki, Miho.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This power storage device comprises: an electrode body having a three-dimensional shape including ridge lines; an exterior film covering at least one of the ridge lines and wrapping around the electrode body; and a protective member that is disposed outside of the electrode body and runs along at least one of the ridge lines."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 29, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/013387.
