MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058163 A) filed by Kubota Corporation, Osaka, Japan, on June 17, for 'power transmission device.'

Inventor(s) include Matsuda Shinichiro; and Fujii Keita.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a power transmission device with which shafts, gears and bearings accompanying the shafts, etc. can be housed compactly inside a case. A main transmission mechanism 31 of a power transmission device 100 is provided with a main transmission driving shaft 31a, a main transmission driven shaft 31b, a first main transmission gear 31c, and a second main transmission gear 31e. A sub-transmission mechanism 32 is provided with a sub-transmission driving shaft 32a, a sub-transmission driven shaft 32b, a first sub-transmission gear 32c, and a second sub-transmission gear 32d. Input shafts 23, 24, the main transmission driven shaft 31b, the second main transmission gear 31e, the sub-transmission driving shaft 32a, and the first sub-transmission gear 32c are arranged coaxially with a first axis A1. The main transmission driving shaft 31a and the first main transmission gear 31c are arranged coaxially with a second axis A2. The sub-transmission driven shaft 32b and the second sub-transmission gear 32d are arranged coaxially with a third axis A3. The second axis A2 and the third axis A3 are positioned below the first axis A1."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 27, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/035063.
