MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547082174 A) filed by Google Llc, Mountain View, U.S.A., on Aug. 29, for 'predictive store-to-load forwarding.'
Inventor(s) include Thamarassery Mekkat, Vineeth; and Kou, Leigang.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method for performing predictive store-to-load forwarding on a processor includes receiving a load instruction, performing a predictive store-to-load forwarding process including obtaining, from a prediction table, a predicted store queue id based on an address of the load instruction, looking up a value from a store queue based on the store queue id while performing a parallel verification process for the predicted store queue id, determining that the parallel verification process succeeded, and in response, reading the value for the load instruction from the store queue."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 08, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/014815.
