MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517095159 A) filed by Remegen Co. Ltd., Shandong, China, on Oct. 3, for 'preparation method for intermediate of auristatin derivative.'
Inventor(s) include Wang, Lixin; Gao, Jinwei; Zhong, Cheng; Tang, Haizhou; Ye, Hui; Zhao, Hongyan; and Zhu, Marie M.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present invention is a process route for preparing an intermediate of an auristatin derivative. Compared with the prior art, said process route effectively avoids using norephedrine in the synthesis path; and in addition, said process route provided in the present invention can produce a target product in one step, effectively avoiding generation of reaction intermediate products, and making a purification method simple and the yield and purity of a final product high. Therefore, the process route is suitable for industrial scale-up production."
The patent application was internationally filed on May 06, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/091109.
