According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a thermal insulation system (100) and method for producing a thermal insulation material from polyurethane foam. The system (100) may include a pulverizer (102) configured to grind polyurethane foam into one or more foam particles, a mixing unit (104) configured to combine the one or more foam particles with a liquid medium and an additive to form a processable mixture, and a mixing chamber (106) configured to degas the processable mixture prior to expansion. The system (100) may further include an expansion unit (108) configured to expand the degassed mixture and a curing unit (110) configured to cure the expanded mixture under controlled conditions to obtain a thermal insulation material. The resulting thermal insulation material may exhibit dimensional stability and thermal performance suitable for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning applications."
