MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517084347 A) filed by Amgen Inc., Thousand Oaks, U.S.A., on Sept. 4, for 'process for synthesizing naphthyridine derivatives and intermediates thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosure provides processes for a cross-coupling reaction comprising (a) exposing a mixture comprising a nickel (ll) precatalyst, a phosphine, and an electrolyte in a solvent to a current to produce a nickel (0) catalyst; and (b) catalyzing the cross-coupling reaction with the nickel (0) catalyst. The disclosure also provides processes for preparing Compound (A), or a salt thereof, Compound (F), and Compound (I), as described herein."
