MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517053745 A) filed by Nissho Elektron Co. Ltd., Osaka, Japan, on June 3, for 'production management system, production management method, and program.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is capable of increasing the motivation of a worker who repeatedly performs the same task. This production management system comprises: a reception unit 11 that receives the fact that a task by a worker has been completed; a count unit 12 that counts the number of completed tasks received by the reception unit 11; a computation unit 13 that obtains acquired points by multiplying a numerical value, obtained by the counting of the count unit 12, by a factor that has been set in accordance with the worker; and a display unit 15 that displays, on a display device 18, an avatar that changes in accordance with the acquired points."
