MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019152 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'protection film removing device.'
Inventor(s) include Pankaj Kumar Goswami.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A protection film removing device comprises of, a frame 1 positioned over a fixed surface, multiple omnidirectional motorized wheels 2 to position the frame 1 in proximity to the four-wheeler, a scissor arrangement 4 to extend in a manner to position the platform 3 at and appropriate height, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 to determine a four-wheeler present in proximity to said frame 1, a laser measurement sensor to monitor dimensions of the four-wheeler, a first robotic arm 6 to position a cutter 7 to cut the film from one side, a pair of robotic grippers 8 to lift the cut film, a second robotic arm 9 for lifting the cut, a high pressure electronic valve 10 to dispense air that results in separating the film from the four wheeler, and a hot air blower 12 for blowing hot air over the film."
