MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641049572 A) filed by Infinity Arsenal Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 18, for 'pwm-controlled dual-mode uav pa system with real-time telemetry feedback.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. M. Sundararaj; and Mr. Ramakrishna Madhira.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an intelligent Public Announcement (PA) payload system for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), configured to seamlessly switch between a real-time analog audio feed and a digital playback module. The system utilizes a microcontroller-based architecture employing interrupt-driven logic to interpret Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signals from the flight controller for precise audio management. A distinguishing feature of the invention is the integration of a bidirectional telemetry feedback loop utilizing the MAVLink protocol. The system encapsulates real-time operational data-such as track ID, volume, and active mode-into telemetry packets transmitted via UART to the Flight Controller, providing the pilot with immediate status visualization on the Ground Control Station (GCS). Furthermore, the system incorporates a remote-actuated power gating mechanism, enabling the pilot to electrically isolate the high-power amplifier during transit phases to optimize battery endurance and ensure acoustic stealth."
