MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102322 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 24, 2025, for 'quantum-secure communication system for robotic applications on constrained device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rajeev Sobti; Dr. Vishal Sharma; Dr. Vishal Sarin; and Gaurav Pushkarna.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A quantum-secure communication system for robotic applications on constrained device 101s, comprises a constrained IoT device 101, such as a Raspberry Pi 5, executing robotic operations with ROS 2 and enhanced DDS for quantum-resistant data distribution, PQ protocols, including module lattice-based schemes, are evaluated via time-based (latency, processing times) and size-based (key/cipher text sizes, memory footprint) metrics, showing competitiveness with classical 128/256-bit cryptography."
