MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421006419 A) filed by Patel, Reena, Maharashtra, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'ready to use compositions of pemetrexed.'
Inventor(s) include Patel, Reena; Patel, Dinesh; Patel, Sachin; Kurani, Shashikant; Sathe, Milind; and Mandal, Surjyanarayan.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Clear stable aqueous ready to use compositions comprising Pemetrexed up to 10mg/ml are provided. Also provided is the process to prepare these compositions. These compositions do not need reconstitution as these are already in aqueous liquid form and need to be administered as such or as directed by doctor or medical professional. These clear stable aqueous ready to use compositions contain Pemetrexed salt equivalent to Pemetrexed up to 10mg/ml, amino acids, chelating agent optionally with pharmaceutically acceptable excipient selected from pH modifier or buffer, antimicrobial agent, surfactant, cosolvent, preservative, antioxidants and tonicity modifier."
