MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105052 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Oct. 30, for 'real-time ergonomic gaming support device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A real-time ergonomic gaming support device comprises of a seating unit 101 to provide a base 102 and a backrest 103 for supporting a user, a front chest support unit 104 arranged to provide adjustable support while the user leans forward, a hand resting unit 105 comprising cushioned padding and a three-finger gripper 106 for holding a gaming console, a plurality of sensors arranged with the seating unit 101 to monitor at least one of a user posture, hand placement, pressure distribution, and user engagement, an AI-enabled camera 107 mounted on the hand resting unit 105, configured to monitor facial expressions, head posture, and emotional or physical discomfort of the user, a fluid-filled chamber 108 provide heating or cooling based on user comfort, a movable massage unit 109 provide therapeutic massage to the user, the user interface store user profiles for the customization of ergonomic settings based on individual preferences."
