MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066851 A) filed by Cansino Biologics Inc., Tianjin, China, on July 14, for 'recombinant poliovirus-like particle, preparation method therefor, and use.'

Inventor(s) include Yan, Qiaoling; Sun, Zhongyang; Li, Hongyan; Zhao, Xiaoxue; Han, Qiqi; Yuan, Hui; Zhou, Jin; Ji, Yuanyuan; Zhao, Huan; Ma, Liqiao; and Zhu, Tao.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a recombinant poliovirus-like particle (PVLP), a preparation method therefor, and a use. The mutation design of the recombinant poliovirus-like particle is based on a structural protein mutation combination, which not only enhances the thermal stability of the PVLP, but also improves the immunogenicity of the PVLP."
