MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013986 A) filed by Digicert, Inc., Lehi, U.S.A., on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'recommendations for cybersecurity based on threat intelligence.'

Inventor(s) include Samir Kumar Rakshit; and Avesta Hojjati.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems and methods are provided for recommending a deployment of cybersecurity products according to threat intelligence pertaining to an organization. A method (70), according to one implementation, includes a step (72) of extracting, from one or more sources, cybersecurity intelligence related to an online presence of an organization. The method (70) also includes a step (74) of analyzing the cybersecurity intelligence to determine a cybersecurity posture of the organization, where the cybersecurity posture is defined by at least a set of one or more cybersecurity issues. Also, the method (70) includes a step (76) of creating a cybersecurity product deploying recommendation to assist the organization with mitigating the set of one or more cybersecurity issues."
