MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321080897 A) filed by Reliance Consumer Products Limited, Maharashtra, on Nov. 29, 2023, for 'reconstitutable premix for an antimicrobial composition.'

Inventor(s) include Iyer Vidula; Kumar Rohit; and Sah Amit.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Reconstitutable premix for an antimicrobial composition The present invention relates to reconstitutable antimicrobial cleansing composition, formulated to be diluted or reconstituted with water to provide a ready-to-use cleansing composition, such a floor cleaner. Disclosed is a reconstitutable premix for an antimicrobial composition, said premix comprising: a) 5 to 25 wt% quaternary ammonium surfactant; b) 10 to 50 wt% nonionic surfactant; and, c) 1 to 10 wt% Lewis base, wherein ratio of quaternary ammonium surfactant to said nonionic surfactant is from 1:1 to 1:4 parts by weight, where, a corresponding aqueous antimicrobial composition is prepared by reconstituting 1 part by weight premix with 2 to 15 parts by weight water."
