MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517053399 A) filed by Lg Chem, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 2, for 'recycled resin composition.'

Inventor(s) include Jung, Dae San; Kim, Seong Lyong; Han, Seung Hun; Nam, Jin Oh; Namgung, Ho; and Kim, Jin Ho.

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a recycled resin composition. The recycled resin composition comprises: a base resin comprising a graft resin and a heat-resistant resin; and a recycled graft resin, wherein the heat-resistant resin is at least one type of copolymers selected from the group consisting of an alkyl-substituted aromatic vinyl-based copolymer and an aromatic vinyl-imide-based copolymer, and the recycled graft resin has a heat deflection temperature of 82-90? and a tensile strength of 41-54 MPa. Accordingly, a recycled resin that is eco-friendly and has no degradation in thermal and mechanical properties may be provided."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 28, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/019363.
