MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547096149 A) filed by Cummins Emission Solutions Inc., Columbus, U.S.A., on Oct. 6, for 'reducing fluid mixer.'
Inventor(s) include Geant, Ludovic; Kulkarni, Vinayak; and Devara, Deepakkumar.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mixer includes a reducing fluid injector, a disc-shaped injector, an elastic mat, and a hollow mixing chamber. The reducing fluid injector is configured to spray a reducing fluid into an exhaust gas flow. The reducing fluid injector is arranged along an axis. The disc-shaped injector support extends around the axis. The elastic mat is disposed on the disc-shaped injector support. The hollow mixing chamber extends around the axis and disposed on the elastic mat and separated from the disc-shaped injector support by the elastic mat. The hollow mixing chamber is tapered."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 21, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/020901.
