MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517076423 A) filed by Carrier Japan Corporation, Tokyo, on Aug. 11, for 'refrigeration cycle device.'

Inventor(s) include Hori Yoshiya; Miura Ken; and Asari Shun.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A refrigeration cycle device according to an embodiment includes a main circuit, a non-return valve, and a control unit. The main circuit connects a compressor, a first heat exchanger, an expansion device and a second heat exchanger in a ring shape, an allows a refrigerant to flow therethrough. A downstream side in the direction of flow of the refrigerant is referred to as a first side, and an upstream side in the direction of flow of the refrigerant is referred to as a second side. The non-return valve is disposed on the first side of the compressor in the main circuit. The control unit controls the implementation of a pressure reduction operation if a prescribed condition is satisfied and the operation of the compressor is stopped. The pressure reduction operation is an operation to reduce a first pressure in the main circuit on the first side of the non-return valve."
