According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a relay UE selection and reselection method and apparatus for a UE-to-UE scenario. The method comprises: a first UE determines candidate relay UEs according to a first selection condition; and the first UE determines a selected or reselected target relay UE according to the candidate relay UEs, wherein the first selection condition comprises any one of the following: selecting, as candidate relay UEs, relay UEs of which a notification message or a neighbor cell list comprises a terminal identifier of a second UE; selecting, as candidate relay UEs, relay UEs of which a sidelink reference signal received power (SL-RSRP) or a sidelink discovery reference signal received power (SD-RSRP) satisfies a threshold condition; and selecting, as candidate relay UEs, relay UEs of which a notification message or a neighbor cell list comprises a terminal identifier of a second UE and an SL-RSRP or an SD-RSRP satisfies a threshold condition. By implementing the embodiments of the present invention, the problem of how to select and reselect a relay UE under a UE-to-UE scenario can be solved, such that the normal communication of a terminal device can be ensured."
