MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074508 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Aug. 5, for 'remote support system and remote support method.'
Inventor(s) include Suda, Rio; Momose, Hirofumi; Kawamuro, Junji; Tamagawa, Shuichi; Akatsuka, Kosuke; Suehiro, Yuki; and Kobayashi, Naofumi.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This remote support system is a system for performing remote support of a target mobile object. The remote support system acquires an image which is captured by an infrastructure camera and in which a target mobile object is shown. The remote support system executes a differentiation process of differentiating the target mobile object in the image from other mobile objects on the basis of individual information unique to the target mobile object. Then, the remote support system presents an image obtained as a result of the differentiation process to a remote supporter who performs remote support of the target mobile object."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 08, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/043998.
