MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012499 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'rescue device for wrecked vehicle.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rescue device for wrecked vehicle, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned in proximity to wrecked vehicle, a touch enabled screen 2 accessed by a concerned person to give input commands for rescuing people from vehicle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 detects exact location of windscreen, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 4 position body 1 near windscreen, a set of hydraulic bars 5 lifts body 1 to align with vehicle, a primary robotic arm 6 positions a drilling unit 7 on windscreen for drilling hole, a telescopically operated rod 8 positions a motorized cutter 9 on drilled hole for cutting entire screen in synchronization with a two-axis lead screw arrangement 10 and cut screen is collected by two secondary robotic arms 12, two plates 13 are positioned under vehicle by two L-shaped telescopically operated links 14, and a cross-linkage arrangement 10 configured between plates 13 for lifting vehicle."
