MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056619 A) filed by Dow-Mitsui Polychemicals Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on June 12, for 'resin composition for laminated glass interlayer film, laminated glass interlayer film, and laminated glass.'

Inventor(s) include Shimizu Takahiro; Oogi Kazuyuki; Yamamoto Sadaki; Isokawa Motoaki; and Nishimoto Taizo.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A resin composition that is for use in the formation of a laminated glass interlayer film, contains a resin (A), a pigment (B), and a UV absorber (C), and has, in the total light transmittance of a laminated glass formed from the resin composition, a transmission spectrum in which the light transmittance at a wavelength of 400 nm is 65% or less, the wavelength at which the light transmittance is minimized in the wavelength range of 420-720 nm is a wavelength of 570-605 nm, and the light transmittance at the wavelength at which the light transmittance is minimized in the wavelength range of 570-605 nm is 1%-50%."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 14, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/044798.
