MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049900 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on May 23, for 'resource allocation method and apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Yu, Long; and Zhang, Min.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application belongs to the technical field of communications. Provided are a resource allocation method and apparatus, which are used for improving the utilization rate of frequency-domain resources. In the method, when a network device reserves, for a first terminal in advance, a frequency-domain resource set that the terminal can use, the network device may instruct, by means of first information, the first terminal to use some frequency-domain resources in the frequency-domain resource set, for example, the first terminal only uses a first frequency-domain resource for data transmission. In this way, data transmission of a plurality of terminals is completed by using a frequency-domain resource set of one terminal, thereby improving the utilization rate of frequency- domain resources; in addition, the terminal can realize TTI-level switching of a resource allocation method, such that the resource allocation method for the terminal can be adjusted and matched in real time."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 23, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/125916.
