MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074342 A) filed by Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Aug. 5, for 'resource mapping method and apparatus, and terminal, chip and storage medium.'
Inventor(s) include Zhang, Shichang.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the embodiments of the present application is a resource mapping method, comprising: mapping second-stage sidelink control information (SCI) in a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) from a first resource unit in a time slot to at least one second resource unit comprising the first resource unit, wherein a demodulation reference signal of the PSSCH is present on a symbol where the first resource unit is located, and the at least one second resource unit does not overlap or partially overlaps with a symbol for transmitting a sidelink positioning reference signal (SL PRS); and mapping a portion of the PSSCH that does not include the second-stage SCI to at least one third resource unit that does not include the second-stage SCI. By means of the technical solution, the problem of how to transmit an SL PRS and a PSSCH in the same time slot when the SL PRS and sidelink communication are transmitted in a shared resource pool is specified, thereby ensuring effective reception of the PSSCH."
The patent application was internationally filed on June 28, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/103392.
