MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072587 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 30, for 'resource selection method and apparatus for multiple consecutive slots.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of communications. Provided are a resource selection method and apparatus for multiple consecutive slots, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: determining m transport blocks (TBs) which simultaneously arrive at a physical layer of a terminal device, wherein m is a positive integer greater than 1; determining a resource selection order of the m TBs; and selecting a resource for each of the m TBs in sequence according to the determined order, wherein when a resource is selected for each TB, a resource located in an adjacent slot to a resource(s) of one or more TBs present in a higher layer of the terminal device, which resource(s) has/have been selected but not used for actual transmission, is preferentially selected. In the present disclosure, a method of "resource selection for multiple consecutive slots" is provided, such that resource selection for multiple consecutive slots can be implemented according to a determined resource selection order, thereby reducing the impact of LBT failure, and improving the channel access efficiency."
