MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003468 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 17, 2024, for 'rfid-based secured transportation system for students.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A RFID-based secured transportation system for students, comprises of a platform 1 configured underneath frame of an auto rickshaw, plurality of pressure sensors 2 to detect load on said rickshaw, a pair of first strings 3 connected with a pair of threaded shafts 4 for balancing the orientation of the rickshaw, a primary servo motors 5 paired with the threaded shafts 4, a threaded bar 6 configured with brake pads of the rickshaw via a second spring 7, a secondary servo motor 8 for applying the brakes of the rickshaw, an RFID scanner 9 for fetching contact details of the guardians and drop location of the students, a primary artificial intelligence-based image capturing module 10 to monitor the activities of the students, and a secondary artificial intelligence-based image capturing module 11 for detecting turns on the road."
