MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441010200 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'ride mode suggestion for a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Sathiamoorthy Muralimanohar; Naveen Natarajan Krishnakumar; and Raghavendra Prasad.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a system and method for ride mode suggestions in a vehicle (100), incorporating sensors (106), an ignition switch (108), a vehicle telematics unit (110), a user digital device (206), a display 5 unit (104), and a controller (102). The controller receives vehicle data from sensors, acquires location information from either a vehicle telematics unit (110)or a user digital device (206), and compares the data with a predefinedmatrix. Based on comparison with the predefined matrix, the controller (102)suggests a ride mode change by selecting from predefined ride modes and 10 displaying it to the user on a display unit (104)."
