MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014223 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'road blockage clearing device for landslide hit area.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A road blockage clearing device for landslide hit area, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a road, a computing unit accessed by user to feed command to clear road, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 10 detects exact locations of stones, four motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 positions body 1 near stones, two telescopically operated grippers 3 grip and position stones within body 1, multiple L-shaped telescopically operated bars 4 position suction cups 5 on road to prevent any chances of undesired motion of body 1, a set of weighted plates 6 translated by plurality of motorized sliders 7 as per load distribution of stones to prevent any chances of misbalancing of body 1, multiple pair of L-shaped telescopically operated rods 8 extend and position an auxiliary wheel 9 on road to maintain an optimum angle of body 1, to prevent misbalancing of body 1 and to prevent stoned from falling."
