MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054032 A) filed by Petmedix Ltd., Cambridge, U.K., on June 4, for 'rodents expressing a common light chain.'
Inventor(s) include Li, Meng Amy; and Vilella, Albert.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to genetically modified rodents whose genome comprises only a single dog light chain V gene segment, methods for using said rodents to obtain and identify antibodies, such as bispecific antibodies with a common light chain, and to bispecific antibodies resulting from said methods."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 30, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/083718.
