MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014279 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'rope anchor installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Gurkirat Bhatia; Rajdeep Singh; Gurjesh Singh Chib; and Dheeraj Kumar Gautam.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rope anchor installation device, comprising a platform 1 on a ground surface, multiple rods 2 to provide support to the platform 1 on the ground surface, a motorized wheel 3 to provide movement to the platform 1 on the ground surface, a chamber 4for storing multiple anchor lamps, an inlet 5 for enabling a user to fill the clamps inside the chamber, a touch display panel 6 for enabling the user to input details, a pair of motorized spools 7 to unwind ropes, an AI-based imaging unit 8 for capturing images of the platform 1, pneumatically operated puller 9 to pull the rope, a pair of C-shaped pushers 10 to maintain shape of loop, a robotic gripper 11 for placing the clamp on the loop, motorized wrench 12 for fastening nuts on the clamps, motorized cutter 14for cutting the rope and motorized clippers for directing the rope."
