MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010676 A) filed by Schneider Electric India Private Limited, New Delhi, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'rotary operated mechanism mounted on circuit breaker at required orientation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for electrical distribution, system includes a rotary-operated mechanism (ROM) (104) configured to operate a molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) (102) by a rotary handle (106) accommodated on the ROM (104). One or more inserts (202) are removably configured on an enclosure (108) of the ROM. A front cover (118) of the MCCB (102) comprises a first hole (204-1) and a second hole (204-2) configured to accommodate corresponding one or more inserts (202), wherein one or more inserts (202) securely couple with corresponding holes on the MCCB, ensuring proper alignment of the ROM with the MCCB at required orientation."
