MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019842 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'rust removing assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rust removing assistive device comprising a cylindrical body 101 having a first end configured with a handle 102 to hold device, a second end positioned over a rusty surface, a push button 103 integrated on body 101 linked with a microcontroller allows a user to activate device, a motorized vibrating unit providing vibrations to multiple metallic bars 104 configured with the second end to remove the rust, an AI imaging unit 105 with a processer installed on body 101 to detect unevenness and narrow spaces on the surface, multiple pneumatic actuators integrated with the bars 104 to assist bars 104 in removing rust, a suction unit 106 to extract all residues and transferring it into a chamber 107 attached to the body 101, a speaker integrated on the body 101 to generate audible instruction to notify the user to discard the collected residues."
