MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414096245 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Dec. 5, 2024, for 'saddle riding type electric vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Ryosuke Sagawa; Rintaro Nagase; and Misaki Tanaka.
The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In an electric motorcycle (1) that includes an electric motor (30), a secondary battery (100), and a control device (320), a terminal block (50) that connects a first wiring which extends from the control device to a second wiring which extends from the electric motor in an attachable and detachable manner is provided between the control device and the electric motor, and the terminal block (50) is arranged between a foot placement portion (9a) and a seating portion (8) for an occupant in a vehicle upward-downward direction."
