MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441020641 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 19, 2024, for 'saddle-type vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Shallesh Kumar; Venkata Mangaraju Karnam; Ramesh Thangavel; and Nivedhitha Seenuvasan.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present invention provides a saddle-type vehicle (100) comprising a frame assembly (102) having a headtube (104), a maintube (106) extending rearwardly from the headtube (104) and a utility box (108) mounted on the maintube (106) of the frame assembly (102). The utility box (108) is adapted to store one or more items on the maintube (106). Such a construction of the utility box (108) enhances storage space, while easing accessibility and serviceability of the utility box (108)."
