MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019204 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'sand art making device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pragyan Senapati.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sand art making device, comprising a rectangular base 101 developed to be positioned on the ground surface, multiple telescopic rods 102 for providing support to the base 101, a touch-enabled display 104 for allowing the user to provide input details regarding selection of a design for sand art, a proximity sensor detects a presence of the container on the base 101, a telescopic gripper 107 to grip container within which sand are is to be created, a pressure sensor to determine applied pressure by the gripper 107 on the container, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 108 for monitoring the pattern in the container, an angle sensor to monitor angular positioning of the container and a robotic arm 109 configured with a pointed needle 110 as an end actuator for manipulating sand inside the container."
