MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517075001 A) filed by Zte Corporation, Guangdong, China, on Aug. 6, for 'satellite assistance information of neighbor cells.'
Inventor(s) include Lu, Ting; Parolari, Sergio; and Niu, Li.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Techniques are described to obtain and/or use ephemeris information of one or more satellites associated with a neighbor cell by a communication device. An example wireless communication method includes receiving, by a communication device, a message comprising assistance information of a satellite associated with a neighbor cell, where the communication device is communicable with a cell that is adjacent to the neighbor cell."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 15, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/076159.
