MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517081471 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 28, for 'secondary battery coating composition, and secondary battery using same.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Seong Kyu; Jung, Kyung Hwan; Jung, Byoung Hyo; and Lee, Suk Woo.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secondary battery coating composition according to the present invention is a composition for coating electrodes and/or separators, and contains a flame retardant, a dispersant, and an aqueous solvent, wherein the flame retardant includes at least one of an inorganic flame retardant containing a hydroxyl group, a phosphorus-based flame retardant, a halogen-based flame retardant, or a melamine-based flame retardant."
