MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517007333 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 29, for 'secondary battery manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Taejong.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secondary battery manufacturing device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises, in a state where a plurality of battery cells are embedded, at least one pressurizing unit for pressurizing the plurality of battery cells,, wherein the pressurizing unit includes a plurality of pressurizing blocks positioned at the outermost edge of the plurality of battery cells and between each of the plurality of battery cells, and a pressure supply unit for providing pressure to the plurality of pressurizing blocks, the pressurizing block includes a pressurizing plate and a pressure sensor unit positioned at one surface of the pressurizing plate, and the pressure sensor unit corresponds to a body surface of the battery cell."
