MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088264 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'secured dual-axis rotation enabled bulb holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Garima Thakur; Veerpratap Singh; Anshul Verma; and Harsh.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured dual-axis rotation enabled bulb holding device, comprises of a frame having a pair of wall mounting brackets 1 that is accessed by a user for installing the frame on the surface of a wall, a cylindrical member 2 for supporting the frame on the wall, a C-shaped arm 3 integrated with plurality of screw attachments 8 to install an elliptical-shaped body 4, a fitting 5 for installing an auxiliary bulb, a first servo motor for providing rotational movement to C-shaped arm 3, a second servo motor for providing an angular movement to the elliptical-shaped body 4, a slot 6 carved on elliptical-shaped body 4 and installed with a fuse connected to the auxiliary bulb, and a temperature sensor 7 integrated on elliptical-shaped body 4 for monitoring the temperature of the elliptical-shaped body 4."
