MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012973 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'secured nail fastening device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured nail fastening device comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 integrated on the body 1 for user input, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the body 1 to determine location of the surface, plurality of motorized wheels 4 configured with the body 1 for movement, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 5 arranged on the body 1 to extend/retract for positioning a frame 6 assembled on the rod 5, an extendable pusher 8 and a slot 9 integrated within the frame 6 for deploying of multiple nails by an electromagnetically powered spring 11 embedded into a cylindrical member 10 arranged with the slot 9, a motorized roller 12 coiled with a strip of caps arranged within the frame 6 for positioning of the strip, and a laser measurement sensor integrated on the body 1 for evaluating user-specified distance."
