According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A seed ball formulation and method of preparing thereof is described herein. The formulation and method includes starting with the procurement and pre-processing of raw materials like cocopeat, vermicompost, biochar and psyllium husk (100(a)). These ingredients are cleaned, dried and stored under optimum conditions to preserve their efficacy (100(b)). The biochar is coarsely ground (200(a)), all components are sieved from same mesh to ensure uniformity of particle size (200(b)) then they are and uniformly mixed (200(c)). The psyllium husk is incorporated by mixing for binding (300(a)). Water is sprayed until wet cohesive mass is formed (300(b)). The mixture is shaped into unique half sphere having cavity (400(a)) and dried to an optimal moisture level (400(b)). The cavity of dried half sphere is filled with plant growth enhancement mixture (500(a)). Finally, these filled halves were made into complete balls by joining other empty halve on top using psyllium husk solution forming a complete seed ball (500(b))."
