MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537070912 A) filed by Beijing Roborock Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 25, for 'self-moving cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Li, Xing; Li, Changcheng; Yu, Qiang; Zou, Lvwu; Yang, Cheng; and Cheng, Pan.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A self-moving cleaning device (002), comprising: a device body (010), the device body (010) comprising an accommodating cavity (011), and two driving wheels (020) and a driven wheel (030) which are arranged at the bottom of the accommodating cavity (011) and distributed in the shape of a triangle; and a mechanical arm (001), the mechanical arm (001) being foldable and accommodated in the accommodating cavity (011), the mechanical arm (001) comprising a rotating seat (55), and the projection of the rotating seat (55) in the horizontal plane being located inside the projection of the triangle in the horizontal plane."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 13, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/138330.
