MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537103231 A) filed by Beijing Roborock Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Oct. 27, for 'self-moving device and control method therefor, storage medium, and computer device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A self-moving device (100) and a control method therefor, a storage medium, and a computer device. The self-moving device (100) comprises a camera module (123), a first processor (180), and a second processor (190), wherein the camera module (123) is used for acquiring an image signal of a surrounding environment of the self-moving device (100) and sending the image signal to the first processor (180); the first processor (180) is used for receiving the image signal and establishing a surrounding environment map of the self-moving device (100) and/or identifying an obstacle in the surrounding environment of the self-moving device (100) according to the image signal; and the second processor (190) is used for controlling the connection/disconnection between the first processor (180) and the camera module (123) according to the operation state of the self-moving device (100), so as to control whether the first processor (180) can receive the image signal sent by the camera module (123). Therefore, the connection/disconnection between the first processor (180) and the camera module (123) matches the operation state of the self-moving device (100), so that the risk of privacy exposure of a user by the camera module (123) is reduced, thereby improving the use security of the device."
