MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079974 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Aug. 22, for 'server device, information processing method, and non-transitory storage medium.'

Inventor(s) include Nitta, Iwao; Fujiwara, Teruyoshi; and Suzuki, Ryota.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A server device comprising: a memory device, including dedicated storage areas, and configured to store pieces of product information of the companies, the supply chain including an upstream company and a downstream company; and a control unit configured to execute: issuing, to the upstream company, a key indicating writing authority for the dedicated storage area of the downstream company; receiving designation of the downstream company from the upstream company, the designation being designation for permitting to make access to pieces of first product information on upstream products; writing the pieces of first product information in the dedicated storage area of the downstream company by using the key issued from the downstream company; receiving, from the account of the downstream company, a linking request including selection of first product information to be linked to second product information on a downstream product; and generating linking information indicating a relationship of linking."
