The method comprises: in response to sending a sidelink positioning protocol (SLPP) message and/or a ranging and sidelink positioning protocol (RSPP) message to a second terminal device, sending, to the second terminal device, identifier information for session distinguishing. The present invention provides a processing method for the situation of "session distinguishing", so that sessions corresponding to the SLPP message and/or the RSPP message is determined according to the identifier information for session distinguishing. The situation of poor message interaction accuracy is reduced, the accuracy of SLPP message and/or RSPP message determination can be improved, and the accuracy of positioning information determination is improved."
