MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014204 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'shade installation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Beemkumar Nagappan.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A shade installation assistive device, comprises of a frame 1 installed on a ground surface, a display panel 2 accessed by a user for providing input, an imaging unit 3 for determining location of area with respect to frame 1, a pair of bodies 4 move frame 1 underneath different portions of panel 2, a vertical member 6 positions a motorized clamp 7 to grip a portion of panel 2, a motorized roller 8 for dislocating sheet on panel 2, a hollow horizontal bar 10 whose tips are connected by means of a motorized rack 11 for allowing translation of rack 11 to vary distance in between bodies 4 for adjusting positioning of sheet over different portions of panel 2 and a drilling unit 13 to drill a hole on evaluated position on sheet for aiding user in installation of fasteners in order to install shade over area."
