MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017479 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 11, 2024, for 'shoes management device.'
Inventor(s) include Ayushi Arora; Kirti Prashar; and Dr. Tanuj Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A shoes management device comprises of cuboidal hollow body (1) segregated into compartments (4) for storing shoes, a touch-enabled screen (9) for giving input, a laser projection unit mounted within each of the compartments (4) to guide user in placing shoes, a pair of motorized sliding units (10) configured with clippers (8) for translating clippers (8) and actuation of roller (7) to rotate for wrapping fabric (6), a camera (11) to capture multiple images of first portion (2) for detecting presence of dirt/dust on shoes, a conductive sensor (12) installed on telescopically operated link (13) for detecting shoe material, a cuboidal body (14) installed on motorized slider (15) for aligning compartment (4), multiple electronic nozzles (17) for dispensing water on shoes, two-axis lead screw arrangement (18) to provide motion to plate (19) for removing dirt/dust, a telescopically operated gripper (22) for engaging members (21) with disc (23) for scrubbing shoes."
