The method comprises: a first terminal device initiating SL positioning; sending instruction information to a second terminal device, the instruction information being used for instructing the second terminal device to determine a resource for sending am SL PRS; and/or sending instruction information to a network device, the instruction information being used for instructing the network device to determine a resource for sending an SL PRS. By implementing the method of the present disclosure, a UE participating in SL positioning and/or a network device responsible for resource allocation in SL positioning can effectively determine, on the basis of instruction information, a resource for sending an SL PRS, thereby effectively improving the effect of SL positioning."
